Anthony Davis put the Pelicans on his back and got them their first win of the season in a 112-106 victory at Milwaukee.

Davis went off for 32 points on 12-of-25 shooting. He added eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocks while shooting a perfect 8-of-8 from the line. His line tonight may have saved coach Alvin Gentry’s job. We’ll see if this is the start of a winning streak for the Pelicans.
