Cavanaugh has climbed the ladder quickly after going from UDFA to two-way signee to starting center. He’s seen a big spike in workload over his last five, putting up 8.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.2 blocks and 1.4 threes in 23.3 minutes per game. Cavanaugh is certainly on the deep league radar while Atlanta’s frontcourt is thinned out, and he could carve out a full-time role with some nice games in the next week or two. Plumlee was already getting limited run as a starter and will see even less off the bench, so feel free to move on from him.
