Shane Larkin managed just two points on 1-of-5 shooting with three assists and a steal in 13 minutes of action off the bench in the Nets’ 108-86 loss to the Jazz on Friday.
Larkin hasn’t been able to do much with his opportunity and the Nets went 10 minutes tonight without a true point guard running the show. It’s hard to count him out because the Nets have a new coach and things could change, but Donald Sloan (two points, four rebounds, six assists, 25 minutes) is a slightly better asset and has the same caveats for fantasy owners to consider. It’s worth noting that the entire team struggled both in the box and also in terms of their effort, which was noticeably down.
