• Dennis Schroder hit just 1-of-7 shots for six points, four rebounds, four assists and five turnovers in 19 minutes off the bench on Tuesday against the Celtics.

Schroder did hit 4-of-4 freebies to help push this line toward the light, but this kind of outing most certainly highlights the downside of the up-and-coming guard.  At 24 mpg he’s straddling the cut line in 12-team formats and some of his playing time has been boosted by time off for Jeff Teague.  He also might have been dinged up tonight but we haven’t heard anything else about that.  He stands to improve as the year goes on and if it all clicks he’ll have mid-round upside, but he’ll need an injury in front of him to truly threaten that.  He’s not a must-hold player but there’s plenty of reason to hold him on a thinner than average Hawks squad.
