• Patrick Beverley started at point guard on Friday against the Sixers, scoring five points on 2-of-4 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, four assists, one steal and three blocks in 32 minutes.

Beverley would seemingly be the counter to the Rockets’ woeful ways but we’re concerned about his injury risk and whatever happens as his teammates invariably bounce back from their slumps.  In a 14-team league there might be enough meat to this bone for an add, but we’d like to see him get this playing time again before getting too optimistic.  Ty Lawson got 16 minutes off the bench and his play is bad enough for questions about his overall mindset to come into play.  There’s a reason we had him outside of the top-100 to start the year despite his starting job.
