Jon Leuer played 41 minutes in the Suns’ last-second loss to the Grizzlies on Sunday, scoring 10 points on 3-of-11 shooting (including a three) with 11 rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
We’ll be frank — we don’t know if he will be able to dodge whatever happens with the Markieff Morris situation and make this a smooth pickup, or to a lesser degree a profitable pickup. But he’s checking a lot of boxes in the fantasy department and there’s just too much upside for owners to pass up. If he is the Suns’ power forward of the (near) future, which makes sense because he’s a whole lot better than Mirza Teletovic, then he could blossom into a mid-round asset. You’d have to be sitting on a great group of top-80 players to get picky about this.
