Gerald Green scored a season-high 25 points in Friday’s blowout win over the Knicks, hitting 8-of-14 shots (4-of-8 3PTs, 5-of-5 FTs) with two rebounds and one steal in 27 minutes.

The Hurricane as Erik Spoelstra calls him was in full effect tonight and this is what he does when he’s hot.  Luol Deng (hamstring) could be back as soon as the Heat’s next game and that will give Green less margin for error, but he’s always been a boom-or-bust guy best viewed as a late-round asset if everything pans out.
