D’Angelo Russell scored a career-high 23 points on 8-of-20 shooting (including three treys) with one rebound and three assists in 32 minutes off the bench in Wednesday’s overtime loss.

Russell hit the game-tying shot you’ll see below and Kobe left the game early due to general soreness and told Byron Scott to “let the kids play.”  We’ve been pretty aggressive telling you that Russell needs to be owned now and if that’s not the case get off your duff and pick him up.
