Allen Crabbe hits just 2-of-9 shots (1-of-7 3PTs) for seven points, five rebounds, a career-high five assists and two steals in 29 minutes off the bench on Monday.
The Blazers are getting away with running some very small lineups and part of that is because Crabbe is holding his own on the floor. If you threw caution to the wind and added him the past two weeks he has been worthy of an active roster slot, but being realistic he’s a low-end 14-team guy on the year in a 24.4 mpg sample. That’s probably the best measurement to use and there are guys like Meyers Leonard who are playing on the low-end of their expectations, so things could swing the wrong way for Crabbe fairly fast. But we’re definitely watching him and if you’re in a 16-team league he’s worth a pickup.
