Cody Zeller scored a season-high 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting (0-for-1 3PTs, 5-of-7 FTs) with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block over 32 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Bulls.

Zeller has an understated, but sneaky fantasy stat set and with Al Jefferson looking at about two weeks on the pine, this line certainly puts Zeller in the conversation as a pickup.  Compliments about his stat set don’t reflect that he has yet to take a real step forward in his development statistically, however, so tonight’s output would be an outlier in that regard.  If you have a short-term need for a big man, he’s worth a look but he’s nowhere near a must-add player in 12-14 team formats.
