According to Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers are hoping to re-sign Chris Paul to a maximum deal.
Paul certainly deserves and will receive a max deal this summer. CP3 is expected to decline his $24.2 million player option for 2017-18, and could get a five-year deal worth about $205 million with the Clippers. The Point God is hoping to win a championship before his career is over, so depending on the direction of the team, it might be the ultimate factor on whether or not he decides to stay. He averaged 18.1 points, 9.2 dimes, 5.0 boards, 2.0 triples, 1.9 steals and 2.4 turnovers this season and returned top-10 value in standard fantasy leagues.
