Zach Randolph finished with 18 points, one assist, 10 boards and three steals on 9-0f-18 from the field in a loss to the Spurs on Monday.
Randolph started at power forward in the second half and sparked a Grizzlies comeback that saw them close the gap to five points before the Spurs pulled away. This was a much better performance than his 3-of-13 shooting in game one. Unfortunately his big game coincided with a bad game from Marc Gasol. The big men have alternated good and bad games so far this series and both need good games in the same game to have a chance against the Spurs. Â JaMychal Green has been ineffective so far at the four so the experienced Randolph should continue to see big minutes.Â
