Willy Hernangomez will start in place of the injured Cody Zeller on Sunday.

Hernangomez has been out of the rotation lately, so this is a surprise. He's going to be thrown right into the fire with Anthony Davis, Julius Randle and the rest of the Pelicans in town and one wonders whether the Hornets would make this decision against a smaller opponent. Zeller is inactive after initially being listed as probable so we're not expecting him to be out for long. Hernangomez has plenty of upside but is a tough hold in any format until he regains consistent minutes. Let's see if he puts his best foot forward today.
