• Tristan Thompson was 2-for-6 from the field and 5-for-7 from the line for nine points, 10 rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block in the Cavs 109-94 win over the Hawks on Monday.

Thompson is the active leader in the NBA in consecutive games played, so expect him to play on Wednesday. Take that with a grain of salt, as Tyronn Lue could just start Thompson and sit him after a few minutes. Thompson can’t be trusted in the Cavs finale. Bad J.R. Smith came to play on Monday, as he played 32 minutes and only put up two points and one rebound. He is likely to sit on Wednesday. With the Cavs’ big three confirmed out, Lue would only disclose that “Sasha Kaun is going to play.”
