Newly acquired Shanghai Sharks point guard Jimmer Fredette scored 33 points on 11-of-26 shooting (3-of-8 3PTs, 8-of-8 FTs) with eight rebounds, eight assists and one steal in Sunday’s preseason loss to the Rockets.

Jimmer has worked as hard as any player on the NBA bubble so anybody that thinks he’s cashing in on his name have got it wrong.  That he got so many boards and assists was certainly a function of the preseason environment, but he probably raised his stock as a potential emergency replacement at the NBA level.
