Thaddeus Young managed eight points, nine rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes on Saturday.
Young is going to have to up his output, as the Pacers didn’t get a ton of secondary scoring until the fourth quarter. He shot 3-of-4 from the floor and has really tailed off after injuring his wrist right before the All-Star break. It may have been matchup and free-throw based, but Young also sat out the closing moments of this one in favor of C.J. Miles. Perhaps he’ll find the scoring touch in Game 2.
