Chuma Okeke

The Magic have signed their 2019 draft pick Chuma Okeke to his rookie deal, per Shams Charania.

Okeke was selected by the Magic with the 16th pick in the 2019 draft and was subsequently redshirted while he recovered from an ACL tear suffered in the 2019 NCAA Tournament. He was projected to be a lottery pick but dropped down the draft due to his injury. Okeke posted solid scoring, rebounding and defensive numbers in college. He should be a valuable addition to the Magic's rotation.
