Per Shams Charania, James Harden wants to be "on a contender elsewhere" and his top two destinations are the Nets and the Sixers.

Things seem to be escalating quickly in Houston as it seems Harden has now officially made it known he'd like to be traded. Shams reports that the Rockets would be happy to keep both him and Russell Westbrook however, though that could just be trade posturing. Both the Nets and the Sixers have excellent trade packages they could throw together at a moment's notice. If Harden does end up getting dealt to one of these two teams, it will more than likely be the biggest move of the offseason.
