Seth Curry scored 20 points off the bench in Monday’s preseason win over the Hornets, hitting 7-of-13 shots (including five threes) with four rebounds and no other statistics in 22 minutes.

This is a classic misleading preseason line and it’s not a statement on Curry’s ability, just that if hits a normal amount of threes rather than going 2-of-6 from beyond the arc this line gets no pub at all.  Instead, he’ll be billed as an emerging sixth man and he’s probably a cut, two or three below that statement.  Curry is going to play and be effective this season, but it could start to look very easy for him during exhibition play.  Too easy.
