Russell Westbrook led the Thunder with 27 points on 9-of-23 from the field to go along with 7-of-7 from the line, two 3-pointers, 18 boards, 14 dimes, two steals and seven turnovers in 36 minutes to beat the Knicks on Monday.
Westbrook is now averaging a triple-double on the year and we all knew he could do it. He’s the modern day Oscar Robertson, except more impressive because he’s doing it against modern day talent and defenses. He’s a beast and you never really see him run out of gas. The seven turnovers seem high, but as a Russ owner, it’s nothing new for you. The 2:1 assist-to-turnover ratio is nice, regardless.Â
