The Rockets suprisingly waived Danuel House on Tuesday and the reason behind it might be that the team is actively seeking a trade this week.

Just days after Mike D’Antoni praised House's play by saying that the forward “belongs in the NBA somewhere,” his stint was cut short. The decision to waive House could indicate confidence that a deal will be made, though it comes at the risk that he would be picked up on waivers by another team. House averaged 8.4 points per game on 39.4 percent shooting in his five games and it’s quite possible he resurfaces at some point during this season.
