The two clubs that have shown the most interest in acquiring Damyean Dotson are the Pistons and the Nets.

The Knicks have until January 15th to make a decision on whether to pick up Dotson’s non-guaranteed option for next year, worth $1.62 million, and they were rumored to be shopping him around the league. In the past three games, Dotson is averaging a team-high 18.0 points on 67.8 percent shooting and 71.4 percent from 3-point range after picking up four straight DNPs from November 20th to November 25th. Dave Fizdale has been impressed by the consistency of Dotson who seems to be earning the coaching staff’s trust and deserves a look while he’s hot.
