The Wolves would be at the front of the line to sign Derrick Rose once he’s let go by the Jazz, per Marc Stein.
USA Today’s Jeff Zillgitt also connected those dots and this comes after Thibs’ Wolves nearly acquired Rose from New York last season. While it’s fair to question how much Rose has left to offer, he’d presumably usurp the backup role from Tyus Jones. None of the Minnesota reserves play enough to be fantasy relevant but it’d be a disappointing speed bump for Jones’ own real-life development.
