Mario Hezonja reportedly plans to exercise his $1.89 million player option to remain with the Blazers for the 2020-21 season.
Hezonja played under 20 minutes this season and was in and out of the team's rotation all year. In light of that it isn't all that surprising that he's decided to opt in. The Blazers' wing depth may be thinned out this offseason if Carmelo Anthony decides to leave, but even then Hezonja's role would be unlikely to grow. He does not have much use outside deep leagues, though he can occasionally be a viable and inexpensive DFS play.
