Marcus Smart was diagnosed with a right knee sprain and did not return on Friday against the Nets.

Smart has failed to launch so far this season but we’ll need to see the prognosis before moving the needle on his long-term outlook.  Injuries aside he’s a late-round value with a generalized cap to his upside, but if everything were to break the right way he could surprise with mid-round value. He finished with seven points, two rebounds, four assists, one steal and one three over 21 minutes.
