The NBA will suspend Kings guard Darren Collison for the first eight games of the 2016-17 regular season according to ESPN’s Marc Stein.
Collison pleaded guilty on one count of domestic violence after an incident back in May. His first game would come on November 8th vs. the Pelicans, however, he can still practice with the team and play during preseason. Collison is expected to be the Kings’ starting point guard when he returns but Ty Lawson will likely start during his absence. Despite the suspension he is still worth a look in the mid-to-late rounds.
