ESPN’s Marc Stein reports that the Pistons will lean on Ish Smith early in the season.
With Reggie Jackson (knee) set to miss the next 6-8 weeks, Smith could wind up getting 10-20 starts if Detroit doesn’t bring in another point guard. Smith’s ability to run the pick and roll gives him some low-end value at the end of drafts.
