Pau Gasol scored eight points, grabbed seven rebounds, and swatted two shots in 19 minutes against the Rockets Sunday night.

This was the first game Gasol played under 20 minutes and it was largely due to Houston’s hot shooting from outside. Even though Nene went down the Rockets answered by deploying small-ball lineups with Ryan Anderson at the five that Gasol just couldn’t close out on. Coach Popovich answered by going small himself which meant less time for Pau.
