Nikola Mirotic went just 5-of-13 from the floor in Tuesday’s Game 2 against the Celtics, finishing with 13 points, seven boards, two assists and two blocks in 28 minutes.
Despite the lackluster shooting percentage Mirotic did provide some nice floor spacing for the Bulls. With the Celtics scrambling to defend Rajon Rondo, Jimmy Butler and Dwayne Wade he got some clean looks at the hoop, cashing in for three triples in the first half. Mirotic was in and out of the Bulls rotation all season, but he seems settled into his role as a 3-point specialist now.
