Markieff Morris shot 3-for-10 from the field and 3-for-4 from the line for nine points with four boards and two assists in 24 minutes in the Wizards’ 111-101 loss to the Hawks in Game 4 on Monday.
After a big showing to kickoff the series in Game 1, Morris has failed to score more than nine points in three straight games. Between Games 2-4, Morris is averaging 7.0 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.3 apg, 0.3 spg and 1.3 bpg while shooting 29.6% from the field. The home team has won each game in this series, which could bode well for the Wizards, who desperately need to get home after dropping two straight games. With the series tied 2-2, the Wizards will host Game 5 in D.C. on Wednesday.
