Marcus Smart said he felt "no soreness" in his injured thumb after Boston's Game 5 victory.
This is good news for Smart and the Celtics. The team defense has been much better with Smart on the floor this season and if the Celtics do advance he should be able to make an impact against the Sixers. Smart also stated his "body's more sore than my thumb," and that was a good thing. After not playing for a long stretch it's expected that Smart will not be at peak basketball conditioning, but it is a positive that his thumb is healthy.
