Luc Mbah a Moute logged 38 solid minutes against the Jazz on Tuesday, despite scoring just four points on 2-of-5 shooting.
He added eight boards, two assists and one block, but his paltry statistical contributions fail to capture his impact tonight. Mbah a Moute was active defensively, bottling up ball handlers and switching down low when necessary. He also bailed the Clippers out a few brief periods of stagnancy on offense, providing an outlet or clever back door cut to jump start ball movement. Mbah a Moute will likely never be a sexy DFS play, but he’s an important rotation piece for the surging Clippers.
