    LeBron James has expressed interest in having Carmelo Anthony join the Lakers as of a Thursday report.

    James and Carmelo Anthony have a relationship dating back a long time and James believes that Melo still has the game to contribute to an NBA team. It's not a formal request, but even if the Lakers make a play it's hard to imagine that Melo has fantasy value.
