• Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan combined to hit 8-of-32 shots in the Raptors’ 100-90 loss to the Pacers in the series opener on Saturday.

It was really ugly.  The home fans did the thing where they get very anxious and quiet just like last season, and you could see the Raptors getting tighter by the quarter.  Lowry finished with 11 points, two boards, seven assists, two steals, one block and six turnovers, and it’s fair to wonder if his elbow is at least a mild issue.  DeRozan only had three turnovers but his shot selection was terrible en route to a 14-point, four-assist finish.  They didn’t adapt to the fact the Pacers had their staggered screen attack figured out and in general they looked like a backcourt that thought they could run their normal stuff and get the job done.  The playoffs don’t work like that.
