• Kyle Kuzma scored 25 points on 10-of-16 shooting (adding four triples) with six rebounds, three assists and a block in 40 minutes off the bench on Monday in an overtime loss to the Warriors.

Kuzma was a bench player in name only, as he played the most minutes of any Lakers’ frontcourt player by far. Julius Randle (15 points, six rebounds, three assists, one block) played 31 minutes off the bench and Larry Nance Jr. (eight points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal) logged 21 minutes, while Brook Lopez (six points, two steals, one rebound, one assist, one block) played only 11 minutes. If that was a mess to read – good – because that is about what it feels like to own any Lakers big man at the moment. The rotation is crowded at best, but Lopez has the highest upside and should still be held despite dwindling minutes. Nance is holding late-round value due to his diverse stat set, while Kuzma is worth owning as a late-round asset primarily on big minutes and double-double numbers. Randle had good line tonight, but is relegated to deep league status until his role solidifies.
