Kentavious Caldwell-Pope continued to show signs of fatigue on Friday against the Bucks, scoring eight points on 1-of-6 shooting (6-of-6 FTs) with two rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes.
Stan Van Gundy has been pointing out the defensive responsibilities the Pistons have been giving KCP and insinuating that he’s dog tired. We wouldn’t be surprised if there is small injury in the mix as well, but it’s possible he’s just not built for ongoing two-way duties at a high level. Either way, he’s a late-round value on the year and owners may simply want to bench him at this point.
