In an interview with The Oklahoman, Kendrick Perkins talks about NBA comeback and Kevin Durant

Perkins has been training hard, doing two-a-day workouts to get back into the NBA this season.The 32 year old said his preference would be the Thunder but he knows his options are limited. He said he already received a couple phone calls from NBA teams. Perkins is more of an enforcer and has never really been a stats guy, averaging 5.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks over his 13-year NBA career so even if he does find a team, he would not have any fantasy value. On a side note, Perkins mentioned that he spoke with Kevin Durant and it is not clear whether this came from the conversation they had but said he wouldn’t be surprised if Durant came back to Oklahoma City in the near future.
