Jonathon Simmons scored 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting with two triples and a steal on Monday.

Simmons got the job done on the scoring end and almost had a triple-one, but we’re still not buying his standard league appeal. The Magic are without Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon and he’s still only logging 27 minutes. He just doesn’t have enough appeal to be owned in standard leagues because of his deficient stat set. Over his past five he’s the No. 104 player in 9-cat league and that’s about his peak.
