Nikola Jokic shot 6-for-18 from the field (0-for-6 from distance) to finish with 16 points, 12 rebounds, six dimes, two blocks, a steal and five turnovers in Friday’s loss to the Hornets.

With Paul Millsap leaving the game with a right foot injury, Jokic just couldn’t get his shot to fall in a game his team really needed him. The good thing is that he played 33 minutes tonight compared to a bewildering less than 30 minutes per game on the season. The team will need Jokic more than ever and hopefully his increased usage will push his 9-cat numbers back towards first-round value.
