John Wall posted 20 points, four rebounds, 16 assists, one steal and two blocks on 9-of-20 shooting in 39 minutes during a Game 1 loss to the Celtics on Sunday.

Wall had eight turnovers tonight, and that can’t happen if they plan on beating the No.1 seed Celtics in this series. He also shot 1-of-5 from beyond the arc in this one and went cold down the stretch of the game. The Wiz were up 16-0 to start the game and the Celtics stormed back to win this one because the entire Wizards team just lost their stroke as the game went on. Wall is the Wiz’ best player and if they want to win he has to play like the All-Star he is every game. This should be a close series, and one people have been anticipating since the playoffs began, so be ready. Wall and the Wizards look to redeem themselves in Game 2 on Tuesday.
