Joe Johnson scored seven points on 3-of-9 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, three assists and one steal in the Heat’s 118-96 win over the Magic on Sunday.
Johnson is a rest candidate in the sense that all of the Heat’s players are rest candidates if the team decides seeding isn’t worth pushing these guys. As it stands, they’re in the thick of a pretty fluid race for the 3-6 seeds in the East. Johnson is well worth a look in lineups in the final week. Luol Deng (20 points, five assists, two steals, one three), Dwyane Wade (17 points, three boards, three assists, three steals), Goran Dragic (19 points, six assists, one steal, one block), Hassan Whiteside (18 & 15, one steal, two blocks) and Josh Richardson (nine points, three boards, four assists, one three) are must-start guys unless there is a report of rest before your lineup deadlines.Â
