Jimmy Butler had a quiet 13 points on Wednesday but secured the 116-114 win over the Bucks with two clutch free throws at the end of the game.
Butler took only eight field goal attempts in Game 2, but he was sent to the line as time expired and iced the Bucks with two made free throws. On the whole he had a quiet game and ended with 13 points, three rebounds, six assists and three steals. The Heat’s star deferred to his teammates, which proved to be the correct decision as six of them scored in double digits. Butler had a massive 40 points in Game 1 so a win like this demonstrates the Heat’s versatility. He’s been willing to play a more supportive style in general this season, improving his assists by two per-game over last year.
