• Jeff Teague had to have his fingernail treated a couple time in Saturday’s Game 1 loss but still dropped 15 points and four assists in 36 minutes.

Teague shot just 3-of-10 but hit a pair of triples and was perfect in seven trips to the line. He hit his two threes in the fourth, the second of which gave the Pacers their first lead since the first quarter. While he came in with concerns about his ankle, it was his finger that dogged him today. All things considered it was a positive offensive game for Teague. Defensively, however, he was hung out to try. The Pacers stubbornly continued to switch pick and rolls, leaving Teague matched with LeBron James or Kevin Love in unwinnable matchups. They wised up late, but the Cavs got some easy buckets by exploiting their size on Teague. It’ll be fun to see how they adjust to handling those actions in Game 2.
