Jaylen Brown had a quiet 21 minutes for the Celtics in their 123-107 loss to the Nuggets. Brown, who started the game for the injured Jae Crowder, scored four points (1-of-7 from the field) and handed out four assists.
Jaylen was coming off a 19-point explosion against the Cavaliers on November 3 and was a hot grab off the FA pool when Crowder went down. Bad games like this one come with the territory when dealing with rookies. Inconsistency and poor judgement in any game can easily cost them playing time and opportunities. Managers who grabbed Brown for his short-term upside should still hold on to him while Crowder is out.
