JaMychal Green told The Commercial Appeal’s Ronald Tillery that “Memphis feels like home,” and the restricted free agent would like to re-sign with the Grizzlies this summer.
Green had some very strong stretches this year and is a big part of the Grizzlies’ rotation. He averaged a career-high 27.3 minutes per game to go along with 8.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.7 threes, 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks per contest. Unless he gets hit with a massive offer sheet, expect Green to return to Memphis next year as the team seems eager to keep him around. Unless he can get a larger share of the shots, however, he remains a low-end fantasy play despite across-the-board potential.
