James Harden scored 34 points on 12-of-21 shooting (5-of-7 3PTs, 5-of-7 FTs) with one rebound and six assists in Monday’s road win over the Wolves.
Harden will typically hold on to the ball when the situation gets tight but perhaps the comfortable lead had him in a charitable mood. Patrick Beverley scored 11 points with a full stat line, Dwight Howard went for 19 and eight with three assists, one steal and one block, and Trevor Ariza scored 21 points with three treys in the win. If they beat the Kings, who are playing much better than folks might think, they are the No. 8 seed in the West.
