• According to Keith Pompey of Philly.com Jahlil Okafor is “not far away” from playing and is on track to play the season opener against the Thunder.

Okafor is yet to play in a preseason game because of knee soreness after he had surgery to repair a torn meniscus on March 22. He is progressing nicely and has participated in some non-contact workouts. Okafor’s role is unclear as the regular season nears but if his health checks out he is someone who can be scooped in the late rounds.
