• J.R. Smith will be the Cavs starting shooting guard against the Knicks.

Smith is probably going to see an uptick in minutes after only seeing 12 minutes in his preseason debut. He’s finally been paid and now the Cavs’ starting two-guard is focusing on getting ready for the season. Smith should be able to carry the value he had at the end of the 2015-16 season easily into the 2016-17 campaign.
