Smith is expected to be the Pistons’ starting point guard as Reggie Jackson recovers from knee tendinitis. We saw it plenty of times last season when Smith was a Sixer – one week he can help win you games and the next he’s hurting you. He can be viewed as a late-round flier on draft night with his ability to rack up assists and snag a couple steals when he’s given the minutes.
