George Hill simply couldn’t get into rhythm on Tuesday, shooting just 5-of-12 on his way to scoring 12 points against the Clippers.
Chris Paul had his number on both ends of the floor, consistently sneaking through screens to blow up pick-and-rolls and blowing by Hill on offense. Hill’s game might suffer the most from Rudy Gobert‘s absence, as the two players have developed a fantastic feel for utilizing each others strengths. Without Gobert’s punishing screens Hill had no chance of shaking Paul, leading to a lot of ugly shots from the Jazz’s point guard. He’ll look to bounce back Friday in Salt Lake.
